Each year we make a decision as to what we can do to give back a little of how much we are blessed with.   Last year we decided to create some scholarship programs within Catalyst to deserving law firm owners or new businesses that need help but simply don't have the monies to apply the fixes.  We step in not only with mentoring but hands on help if we can.  

We are pleased in 2009 to tell you that we have donated to three new law firm owners and two new start-up businesses.   We continue on with them as we seem them grow and we are extremely proud of them. 

As to other things, we can only urge you to seek out Random Acts of Kindness.   We practice this personally and professionally and there are some nights we go to bed feeling a part of something bigger when we do this.

As to clients, we dont' send cards, rarely send gifts, but each year we take part of our profits and share them with people less fortunate.   We are glad to see more and more law firms doing this versus the gift route.   And I am very proud that every client we have on our roster both current and prior clients have given substantial gift giving from their profits and their hearts.

And to those clients who think about it 365 days a year, God bless you.   These are the truly successful lawyers.
